This 7-days Uganda wildlife safari offers an incredible journey through some of the country’s most diverse national parks. Depart Kampala after breakfast and head west through the rolling hills of Uganda’s countryside. Along the way, pass tea plantations and rural villages before arriving at Kibale Forest National Park in the afternoon. Check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the nearby crater lakes.
After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking. Accompanied by park rangers, search for chimpanzees and observe them feeding, grooming, and playing in their natural habitat. Kibale is also home to other primate species and beautiful birdlife.
Later, transfer southwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and the Rwenzori Mountain foothills. Arrive at your lodge, relax, and prepare for your next day’s adventures.
Rise early for a morning game drive on the Kasenyi Plains. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and Uganda kobs grazing in the savannah.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa, along with crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species along the shorelines. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, head south to the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive in search of lions resting in fig trees and observe other wildlife such as elephants, topis, and buffaloes.
Continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in at your lodge, nestled on the edge of the forest, and prepare for your gorilla trekking experience.
Today is the highlight of your safari. After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before heading into the forest. Trek through the dense vegetation in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once found, spend an unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park, known for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife. Arrive in the afternoon and go for an evening game drive in search of zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes, and buffaloes grazing among the rolling hills.
Start your day with a guided walking safari, offering a unique chance to observe wildlife on foot. Walk through the acacia woodlands and savannah plains, spotting animals and learning about the ecosystem from your guide.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala, stopping at the equator for photos and souvenirs along the way. Arrive in the afternoon, concluding your safari.
