4 Days Murchison Falls & Nile Safari

Trip Overview

Your adventure begins early in the morning as you depart Kampala or Entebbe, heading north through Uganda’s beautiful countryside. The journey takes you past roadside markets, small towns, and verdant farmlands. Arrive in Murchison Falls National Park in the afternoon and drive straight to the top of Murchison Falls. Here, witness the powerful Nile River thundering through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular spray and roaring sound that fills the air. After this breathtaking stop, proceed to your lodge for an evening of rest.

Start the day with a sunrise game drive on the northern bank of the park, where the wildlife is most active in the cool morning air. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, hartebeests, and a variety of antelope species roaming freely across the open savannah. After lunch, embark on a thrilling boat cruise along the Nile River towards the base of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, spot hippos, crocodiles, and a wealth of birdlife, including the famous shoebill stork. The cruise concludes with a stunning view of the falls from below. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Today offers flexibility. For those seeking more adventure, take an optional morning boat trip to the Nile Delta, where you may spot rare bird species and enjoy peaceful, open waters. Alternatively, relax at the lodge, take a nature walk, or simply enjoy the sounds of the African wilderness around you. The afternoon is free for leisure or exploring the lodge's surroundings.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, reflecting on the unforgettable sights and sounds of your safari. Expect to arrive in the late afternoon, where your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your adventure.
